A Lil' Less Meanininglessness

The most significant event that can ever occur occurred technically back when you didn't have a time to begin with. Those that tell you to hurry up and not waste your life waste their own like they've been at it for thousands of years. What's all the rush about? What is so incomprehensible about a time constrained activity?

That's all a life is in the end; an activity that began at a certain universal point in time, if there can be one, and ended on the same timescale at a different point. You can't tell about the end yet unfortunately since you are wired and embedded with the same means into the very same fabric of space-time.

Now please save all the extra-normal claims about the meaninglessness of a nihilistic view of life. Because that's not what I am selling today. I don't necessarily even agree with the hollow and sad atmosphere that enveloped the 'Nihilist' view long before there even was such a thing. It's almost as if our phobia of realism created and founded 'Nihilism' to put all those in it that would possibly try to measure reality and not just follow their pre-determined goals in life.

What is ironic is a nihilistic man seldom under-appreciates life as the common folk would have you believe. A nihilist technically is a person who believes in the ultimate meaninglessness apparent from the design of the universe as a whole (Of course whatever picture he has of the universe might not be accurate unless the man is scientifically literate).

Now, before you bash the hypothetical man and claim how he should kill himself since he doesn't share your grand purpose in life; why don't you sell me your idea. What would you rather have him believe? Somebody designed it? Designed everything? The humans? All the animals? The whole planet? The Sun? The whole Milky way? With all the hundreds of billions of stars? What else? The whole universe? More than two trillion galaxies? If that number sounds pretty big then know that if the widely believed cosmic inflation theory on the Big Bang is true then the number of potential galaxies can be as big as sixteen sextillion.

So you believe an artist carved out the colossally boundless cosmos? Out of what? Himself? Herself? I'm betting on that it's a He given how much chaos the individual will have to account for. It's not Dark Matter, or the God Particle, or the Dark Energy; before you jump onto whatever science is struggling with, as the answer.

Do you feel a little anxious, frustrated maybe? Possibly mad and angry, it's less likely you even made it here reading everything along the way; but if you did. Welcome. We all are supposed to feel that way. Lost, it's called, and it does not mean we are some luggage waiting to be found in the 'Lost and found' section. I mean we are in a way, save for that nobody lost us in the first place and there isn't 'anyone' trying to find us. Save for some cows that fell victim to the alien abductions of course.

So let the old harmless Nihilist lay in peace. He at least empathizes with the people irrespective of their origin. He, at least in principle, values all life on this planet since he sees the suffering of innocent lives that mindlessly follow their instincts like he does until they reproduce somehow and then just fuck off into the abyss. The Arachnid males don't even get to do that most of the times as their then soul mates devour them whole in one go after they're done seeding them (Those fortunate enough to make it to that point).

I guess all that most us need in our petty lives is a perspective. We're tired of things and there's a good likelihood that most of our dreams will never come to fruition.
If that was not enough, to cherry top this shit, we just live from one day to another; stuck.. Each in our little pond of comfort, whence it is impossible to come out.

So there's no way to win this game of life. Entropy ensured your eventual doom when it began it's existence at least at the point of origin of the laws of nature, if not before. So lose this game however way you see fit. If you acknowledge the inevitable, the void, you shall be deemed the loser with no dreams regardless of the fact that all of us are going to end our lives in horrible pain and suffering, if we die the natural death. May we even go a step further and call him names like the Pessimist (Or the Realist!?) or even better, the Nihilist.
